WTEN Preview at Dominican 2025

Women’s Tennis Returns to Court for Rescheduled Match at Dominican

SAN RAFAEL, Calif. – After a week off from competition due to rain, the Pacific women's tennis program will take on Dominican at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Castellucci Family Tennis Center.

Originally scheduled as an exhibition match, last weekend's weather forced the match to get postponed and subsequently get counted as a regular season match. Tomorrow's match with the Penguins (0-0) is both the first meeting against Dominican in program history, but Dominican's only match with a division one program this season.

Both Pacific and Dominican shared a common opponent in Sacramento State with the Penguins facing the Hornets in a preseason scrimmage while Pacific fell in the team's most recent match.

It will be the last of a three-match road swing for the Tigers to open the season. Pacific will play its home opener Saturday at 12 p.m. against UC Davis at the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center.
