SAN JOSE, Calif. – The Pacific women's tennis program stays in the Northern California area for the week, traveling to San Jose State on Tuesday at noon at the Spartan Tennis Complex, before coming back home to welcome Grand Canyon to the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center on Sunday at 11 a.m.
Pacific's (1-3) trip to face the Spartans on Tuesday is the first since the 2020-21 season. The Tigers have won two of the last three meetings against the Spartans (3-0).
Pacific has shined in doubles this season. The pair of senior
Megan Carmichael and sophomore
Milena Maiorova emerged victorious in each of their last two contests against Dominican and UC Davis while senior
Alexis Sam has won her past two doubles matches with different partners.
When Grand Canyon comes to Stockton, the Tigers will be defending a 2-0 series lead against the Lopes. Both matches were extremely competitive with the Tigers pulling out 4-3 wins in each, however the most previous match-up was in 2016.
Tuesday's match will not be streamed but will have live stats while Sunday's match will not have live stats but is available to be streamed.
