No. 6 Pacific Concludes Regular Season with Non-Conference Matches at No. 2 UCLA & No. 3 Stanford

LOS ANGELES – Having already won the West Coast Conference Regular Season Championship, the No. 6 Pacific men's water polo program will wrap-up the regular season with non-conference road games at No. 2 UCLA at 5 p.m. Friday and No. 3 Stanford at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Friday's game against the Bruins (20-1, 4-1 MPSF) will be played at the Spieker Aquatics Center. Sunday's contest against Stanford (12-6, 1-4 MPSF) will be played at the Avery Aquatic Center. Both games will be streamed on Overnght.

The Tigers (15-5, 5-1 WCC) enter play on an eight-game winning-streak. Most recently, they beat No. 12 Cal Baptist to secure their second consecutive WCC Regular Season crown and locked-up the top seed at the conference tournament. It came after Pacific was picked to finish third in the league's preseason poll.

Freshman Petar Popovic is the reigning WCC Player of the Week winner. He registered three goals and three assists against the Lancers for his third hat trick of the year. Popovic has tallied 24 goals on the season.

Pacific has won eight WCC weekly awards as a team, all from freshmen. The leading goal scorer, Apostolos Georgaras, has won four times and has netted 69 goals.

The Tigers will look to knock off UCLA for the first time since 2013 and will look to beat the Bruins on the road for the first time this century. Pacific is looking for its first win against Stanford since an 11-10 road victory in 2016.

The 2025 WCC Tournament will be played Nov. 21-23 at Air Force. Pacific clinched a first round bye and will play its first game Saturday, Nov. 22.
