STOCKTON, Calif. – Coming down to the final races of the afternoon, the Pacific men's and women's swim and dive program put up a spirited performance in their first tri-meet of the season against San Jose State and UC Santa Cruz on Saturday at the Eberhardt Aquatics Center.
The Tigers' women's squad picked up a victory in convincing fashion over the Banana Slugs by a 191-102 margin, but the men were edged in the final event of the day to drop a 144-143 decision. SJSU won on the women's side by a 162-127 score.
Saturday's win over UCSC marked the fourth straight victory in program history and second win in front of the Stockton faithful.
Sophomore
Christina Agiomamitou played a pivotal role in her three appearances on the day, earning first place in the 1,000 yard freestyle with a time of 10:11.78 and in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 4:58.67. Agiomamitou also sprinted a portion of the 400 yard freestyle relay where the Tigers' A team took the nine points in the scoring.
Senior
Annelise Thomas and sophomore
Josephine Fields also earned first place nods in the 100 yard backstroke and 100 yard freestyle, respectively.
On the men's side, a speedy standout was sophomore
Nate Rasmussen, who registered the top spot in all three of his individual events: the 50 freestyle (20.44), the 100 freestyle (44.90) and 200 freestyle (1:36.88).
Freshman
Alexis Iacovides secured his first individual win of the 2025-26 campaign, clocking a time of 50.13 in the 100 yard backstroke.
The Tigers have completed their final home event of 2025 and now shift gears to a new month where they'll head south to face Cal State Bakersfield on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 2 p.m. at John S. Hillman Memorial Aquatic Center.
