SEASIDE, Calif. – The Pacific men's golf program kept pace with a similar first-round performance from yesterday, moving up to fourth place on Tuesday after two rounds at the Saint Mary's Invitational from Bayonet Golf Course.
Following the second day, the Tigers (-1/575) were steady, improving their team performance to be one of four teams with an under-par score through 36 holes. Arkansas State remains as the leader in the 16-team field with a 12-under par.
Senior
Timothy Jung turned in another strong round, standing comfortably with a four-under par – good for a tie for sixth place. He and senior
Travis Robbie each carded a two-under par today to elevate their individual rankings.
Redshirt junior
Deitrek Gill is tied with Robbie among the top 30 of the field with a two-day total of two-over par.
Senior
Ian Fritz (+1) and
Felix Bouchard (+4) rounded out the rest of the team scoring. Sophomore
Josh Stuart is competing as the lone Tiger individual with a ten-over par through 36 holes.
Day two of the tournament is expected to begin at 8:20 a.m. from the first and tenth holes. Live scoring can be found
