SEASIDE, Calif. – The Pacific men's golf program seeks back-to-back team titles at a Saint Mary's-hosted tournament, taking part in the 2025 Saint Mary's Invitational at Bayonet Golf Course from Monday to Wednesday.
The Tigers enter the competition following a historic sweep of the top three individual finishers in the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational during Homecoming Weekend, marking the first time that has happened in program history. This week, Pacific looks to defend its team title from the Leadership and Golf Collegiate Championship last season.
In the latest SCOREBOARD rankings from last Wednesday, the Tigers stands among the top 50 at No. 46, which is second among the participating West Coast Conference schools behind only No. 14 Pepperdine.
Pacific looks to ride momentum with its top trio who completed one, two and three in its home tournament last week in the forms of sophomore
Felix Bouchard, senior
Ian Fritz and redshirt junior
Deitrek Gill.
Bouchard captured his first collegiate individual title in the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational, carding a season-best 12-under par over the three-day tournament. The native of Montreal, Quebec became the second consecutive Tiger to win the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational after senior
Travis Robbie did so during the 2024-25 campaign.
Gill represents the highest-ranked Tiger through four tournaments, coming in No. 155 nationally. Gill has four top 20 finishes, including earning a runner-up position at the home tournament behind Bouchard with an 11-under par. Last season in the Leadership and Golf Collegiate Championship, the native of Wellington, Kansas earned a tie for fifth place overall with a five-under par.
Robbie will spearhead the lineup as the positioned No. 1 golfer to start for the Tigers. Robbie was among the top eight at the Leadership and Golf Collegiate Championship last season, helping the Tigers to a second team tournament title during last season.
Senior
Ian Fritz and senior
Timothy Jung round out the rest of the Pacific lineup. While Jung has posted a pair of top 20 finishes this season so far, Fritz turned in a career-best performance with a top three completion at the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational, shooting ten-under par. Sophomore
Josh Stuart will be the lone Tiger competing as an individual.
The Saint Mary's Invitational this year is a 16-team field that features four WCC schools in host Saint Mary's, Washington State, San Francisco and Santa Clara. The Bayonet Golf Course is par 72.
The three-day tournament will play 18 holes each day, beginning on Monday at 8:20 a.m. from holes No. 1 and No. 10. Live scoring for the tournament can be found
