STOCKTON, Calif. – Sweeping the podium with the top three finishers in the field, the Pacific men's golf program earned the team title for the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational on Saturday at The Reserve at Spanos Park.
Led by sophomore
Felix Bouchard's first-place individual finish, the Tigers (-47/817) earned their first team title of the 2025-26 campaign and first team title at home since the Pacific Invitational at Brookside Country Club from Nov. 1-3, 2010.
"I couldn't be prouder of these guys' efforts and their accomplishments," Pacific head coach
John Cook said. "Felix getting his first college win was awesome. All of these guys battled hard all three days. For us to win at home in Stockton at our course is surreal."
With a field-best ten-under par on the final day of the tournament, the Tigers ousted the 17-team competition with ease as the whole Pacific lineup completed their scoring in the top 20 individually.
Bouchard paced the field of 96 golfers with a season-best 12-under par, while redshirt junior
Deitrek Gill and senior
Ian Fritz finished second and third place individually with a 11-under par and 10-under par, respectively.
"It's awesome," Bouchard said. "For a long time, I thought it wasn't possible, but it is. It's a really good feeling to be an individual champion."
Bouchard marks the second consecutive Tiger to win the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational after senior
Travis Robbie earned the honor last season at the Stockton Golf & Country Club. Bouchard carded a three-under par on the final day, which had tied him with senior
Timothy Jung for the team-best score on Saturday.
The top trio for the Tigers each recorded their best individual finishes for their Pacific careers. Robbie was not too far behind them with a tie for ninth place individually at six-under par. Jung showcased great resilience from the start to the end, securing a top 20 spot individually with a three-under par.
Four Tigers also competed as individuals with sophomore
Josh Stuart putting a nice finishing touch on his performance with a top 30 placement at an even par for the three-day total.
Pacific will look to carry this momentum into its next tournament, awaiting the Saint Mary's Invitational in Seaside, California on Monday, Oct. 20 through Wednesday, Oct. 22.
