RENO, Nev. – The Pacific track and field program opened the 2025 season as graduate student
Talia Johnson tied a school record in the 60-meter dash at the Nevada Invitational on Saturday at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center.
Johnson registered a time of 8.24 seconds during the blue preliminaries of the 60-meter dash, standing in 25th of 32 participants. A native of Atascadero, California, Johnson tied the Pacific record in the event with Naomi Nunis, who first earned the feat in 2019.
The Tigers return to action in two weeks, preparing for the Wolf Pack Classic on Feb. 7-8 in Reno, Nevada and the Sunshine Open on Feb. 8 in Santa Barbara, California.
