Box Score FRESNO, Calif. – In the 2025 season opener, the Pacific women's tennis program fell 6-0 to Fresno State on the road Saturday afternoon at the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center
Sophomore
Nahreen Cheam highlighted the day for the Tigers (0-1) as she was leading on court six in an unfinished match. Cheam, in her first Division I contest, was up a set after winning the first 7-6 and the match was abandoned early in the second.
At court one, senior
Megan Carmichael put up a fight before falling 7-5, 6-4.
Fresno State (1-0) grabbed the top two courts of doubles to take the early lead. On court three, Cheam and freshman
Rayna Sugai trailed just 4-3 when the point was clinched.
The Tigers are back in action tomorrow with a road match at Sacramento State. First serve is scheduled for 12 p.m.
