SACRAMENTO, Calif.- The Pacific beach volleyball team traveled north for more tough competition, visiting Sacramento State and Lousiana-Monroe at the Hornets Beach Bash. Despite the Tigers push back across multiple courts, both the Hornets and Redhawks curbed the Tiger's efforts and Pacific fell 5-0 in both matches.
 
Senior Camdyn Albrecht and sophomore Kelea Saxton Vaka led the Tigers against the Redhawks to start the day. They quickly took the first set 21-19 before ULM got the second. In a back and forth tiebreaker, the pair pushed the Redhawks beyond 15 as they pulled within one, but the duo fell 16-14 in the third set.
 
Junior Ashley Davies and sophomore Josephine Kinlan pulled within one in their first set at twos but fell 23-21, 21-10. Freshman Mia Rossman and senior Juliana Alexander kept close at fours, but fell in both sets 21-15, 21-15.
 
Senior Miranda Baptista and graduate student Jadyn Tubbs forced a competitive first set against host Sacramento State as they made their way to 20, but the Hornets took the match 22-20, 21-7. Rossman and Alexander kept a consistent flow between both matches, but couldn't get the edge, falling to the Hornets 21-15, 21-15.
 
The Tigers stay out on the road, traveling to Stanford to take on the Cardinal and Arizona on Friday, April 12.
