Tigers Travel to LMU for Final Conference Road Series

STOCKTON, Calif.- The Pacific softball team travels to LMU for a four game series set for Friday, April 26 through Sunday, April 28. Saturday's doubleheader is set for an 11 a.m. start with game two following shortly after.
 
Senior Rian Dirmeyer leads the Tigers with 14 total multi-hit games. After the San Diego series, the shortstop has accrued 11 two hit games on the season. She holds a .348 batting average and has registered a team leading 46 hits. She has 19 runs and 18 RBI this season.
 
From the circle, senior Avery Croxall leads all Tigers with a 1.29 ERA, which ranks 15 in the nation. She's pitched through 70.2 innings, collecting six wins while striking out a team leading 62 batters. In 21 appearances, she leads the Tigers with a .195 OBA.
 
Sophomore left fielder Olivia Silvestre leads the Tigers with 28 runs scored on the season. Her 43 hits and .344 batting average rank second on the team. Junior Delaney Scully ranks first in the conference with 297 putouts. She holds a .240 batting average in 129 at bats. The first baseman has scored 18 runs, while recording 13 RBI. Scully is second on the team in home runs this season, scoring her third during the San Diego series.
 
LMU leads the conference series 16-11 since 2013 and are 8-7 at home against the Tigers. The Lions have taken the last seven games dating back to 2021. The Tigers last defeated LMU in a 4-0 shutout in Stockton that same season. The last time Pacific took a win on the road over the Lions came after a 6-4 decision in 2018.
 
As a collective, the Tigers are batting .247 while holding a combined 4.19 ERA. The Lions are batting .273 and possess a combined 3.99 ERA. 
 
The Tigers took three of the four games last weekend against San Diego, a team that had gone 3-1 against LMU. The Lions come off a 3-1 series win over Santa Clara. Both teams are tied 4-4 in conference contests this season.
 
Game one starts on Friday, April 26 at 1 p.m. at Smith Field and concludes on Sunday, April 28 at 10 a.m.
