STOCKTON, Calif.- The Pacific women's tennis team travels to Portland for its final conference match of the regular season. After securing a crucial win over Santa Clara earlier this week, the Tigers cemented themselves into the WCC tournament for the first time ever since returning to the conference in 2013.
Senior
Klara Kosan leads the Tigers with an 11-5 singles record from court one, while holding a 4-1 record this season in conference matches. In doubles, she and her partner junior
Tomi Main, hold an 11-7 record from court one. The duo have won their last two matches together, earning wins over San Francisco and Santa Clara.
Main holds a 9-4 record from court two this season and is currently enjoying a four match unbeaten streak. Senior
Zoe Clydesdale-Eberle and freshman
Indiya McLeod combine for a 20-7 singles record this season. Clydesdale-Eberle is 10-1 from court six and has won her last two matches. McLeod grabbed a win over Santa Clara from court four, where she holds a 3-1 record. She is unbeaten from court six at 3-0 this season.
The Tigers are 4-5 against the Pilots dating back to their return to the WCC. They have claimed the last two matches, most recently defeating the Pilots 4-3 in Portland. Pacific is 3-4 in Portland since 2013 and currently holds a 3-3 record in road matches. The Pilots are 5-2 at home this season after falling to both Pepperdine and San Diego last week.
Pacific goes for its most ever conference wins in over a decade with a road trip to Portland. The match is set for Saturday, April 20 at 11 a.m.
