Tigers Welcome No. 12 Washington for Doubleheader

STOCKTON, Calif.- The Pacific beach volleyball team hosts No. 12 Washington, days before its final home tournament, for a midweek doubleheader set to start at noon on Wednesday, April 17 at the Raney Sand Volleyball Courts.

The Tigers return home for the first time since mid-March, showing grit on the road while facing some of the nations top teams. They return after spending the weekend in Palo Alto, taking on Stanford and Arizona.

Sophomore Josephine Kinlan and junior Ashley Davies lead the Tigers with three pairs wins on the season. Three separate pairs have each notched a win this season. Senior Juliana Alexander and partner freshman Mia Rossman collected a win at home against San Jose State, downing the Spartans from fours 21-19, 21-19.

Pacific last saw the Huskies in Stockton during the 2015 season and the two teams have yet to meet on the court since then. Washington leads the all time series 2-0 with two wins in 2015.

The Tigers look to break free against the Huskies in preparation for their regular season final on Friday and Saturday. First match starts at noon on Wednesday, April 17 with the second match set for 2:30 p.m.
