DAVIS, Calif. – On the final day of the El Macero Classic, the Pacific men's golf team recorded a three-day score 921 (309-317-295), finishing in 16th place on Sunday at the El Macero Country Club.
Of the 18 teams in the field, Saint Mary's won the team title with a 15-over-par 879. Nevada's Enrique Dimayuga was the top individual finisher of the 104 participants with a seven-under-par 209.
Freshman
Carlos Astiazaran recorded the best finish for the Tigers, earning a tie for ninth place in the tournament. Astiazaran and sophomore
Ian Fritz recorded the team lows of the third round with one-under-par 71s.
