Women's Tennis Face Gonzaga, Colorado State at Home

STOCKTON, Calif.- The Pacific women's tennis team's homestand continues as the Tigers welcome Gonzaga and Colorado State to the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center on Thursday, March 28 at 3 p.m. and Saturday, March 30 at 11 a.m. respectively.

Pacific's match against Colorado State, originally scheduled for 10 a.m., has been moved to 11 a.m. due to rain.

The Tigers look for their first conference win of the season, having recently faced Saint Mary's over the weekend. Senior Zoe Clydesdale-Eberle grabbed a singles win for the Tigers, but the Gaels took the match 4-1, which moved the Tigers to 2-2 at home.

Pacific is led behind its senior captain Klara Kosan. She boasts a 7-4 record on court one this year in her singles matches. Aiding her are freshman Indiya McLeod and junior Liza Mladentseva. The two combine for a 12-3 record in singles matches this season. Clydesdale-Eberle has gone unbeaten in her last four singles matches.

Leading in doubles is Kosan and junior Tomi Main, who have won their last seven matches together. The pair are 8-4 on the season playing from court one.

First up for the Tigers is Gonzaga. The Bulldogs are 9-1 against the Tigers dating back to 2014. Pacific last defeated the Zags 4-3 in 2022 in Stockton. Gonzaga is 1-0 in conference matches this season after defeating Portland 4-3 in Spokane.

Pacific concludes the week with its first ever match against Colorado State. The Rams are off to a 7-6 start this season, while holding a 1-4 record on the road. They have won their last two matches and travel to Nevada before visiting the Tigers in Stockton.
