STOCKTON, Calif. – A busy weekend of West Coast Conference matches features the No. 5 Pacific men's water polo program taking on No. 17 Santa Clara at 7 p.m. Friday at the Eberhardt Aquatics Center before heading to No. 16 Cal Baptist at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Lancer Aquatics Center.

Pacific (15-1, 3-0 WCC) will look to remain unbeaten at home this year when it hosts Santa Clara (12-8, 1-3 WCC). The Tigers are coming off a 22-12 conference road win over Air Force last weekend where graduate
Stefan Vavic registered a season-high four goals and two assists.

The Tigers remained top-five in the Collegiate Water Polo Association rankings for the seventh consecutive week. They are led by senior
Mihailo Vukazic who has netted 52 goals on the season and averages over a hat trick per game (3.25 gpg).

Graduate
Matthew Hosmer has scored at least two goals in four consecutive games and is second on the team in scoring with 34 goals on the year. Vavic has also scored in four straight outings and is up to 19 goals on the season.

Santa Clara is coming off a 13-9 road win at LMU. All three of its WCC losses have been by one goal. The Tigers are 33-3 all-time against the Broncos and have won 15 of the last 16 meetings.

Cal Baptist (18-10, 3-1 WCC) is looking to shake-off a tight 17-16 defeat to Pepperine, its only conference loss of the season. The Tigers are 7-0 in away matches this year and 16-1 all-time against CBU.

The regular season finale is Saturday, Nov. 16 when the Tigers host Pepperdine at 1 p.m. on Senior Day. Pacific will host the West Coast Conference Championships on Nov. 22-24.
