STOCKTON, Calif. – Head coach
Bradley Davis and the Pacific women's basketball program are set to announce the addition of three incoming freshmen for the 2025-26 season.
"I'm fired up we were able to sign three impact players from three programs that are among the best in Northern California. To a certain degree they're all rivals as well. Liv, Sophia and LaMiracle have chosen to join forces…after they try to beat each other this year…to stay close to home, play and win in front of family and friends. I'm confident they are going to be great additions to our program and that they will be quick fits in the Pacific Women's Basketball family," said Davis.
Liv Yergensen is a 5-11 combo guard from El Dorado Hills, California. Yergensen is currently in the midst of her senior season at Oak Ridge High School, where she enters the season as the reigning People's Choice Player of the Year, as voted on by readers of the Sacramento Bee. In addition to the POY honors, she is a two-time Sacramento Bee all-metro team selection, earning first team honors in 2023-24 and second team in 2022-23. Her efforts helping lead Oak Ridge to back-to-back Sierra Foothill League second place finishes led her to be named a back-to-back member of the Sierra Foothill All-League First Team.
The combo guard chose Pacific in part due to the proximity to home and the atmosphere surrounding the team, both personally and competitively. Yergensen was quoted as saying she felt she was able to build genuine bonds due to the welcoming culture she experienced from both players and coaches during visits and that culture translated competitively to being able to compete night in and night out in the WCC.
Sophia Mindermann joins Pacific as a 5-10 shooting guard from Folsom, California. At Folsom High School, Mindermann has been a part of a team that lost just one Sierra Foothills League game in the past three seasons and has lost fewer than seven games each of those seasons. For her efforts on those teams, she is a two-time Sierra Foothills League first team selection (2022-23 and 2023-24) and consecutive Sacramento Bee All-Metro Team Second Team selections.
Mindermann, echoing Yergensen, chose to commit to Pacific due to the family-oriented culture the coaching staff has cultivated in addition to the competitive pedigree shown.
LaMiracle Lebon is a 6-3 forward out of Vanden High School in Fairfield, California. Lebon is a reigning selection to the All-League Team in the San Joaquin Sectional and member of the 2021 sectional win for Fairfield High School. The forward ultimately chose Pacific due to a culture she believed had been cultivated to really care about the well-being of the student-athletes.
All three athletes will officially join the team during the summer of 2025.
