STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific swimming program hosts its second dual meet of the season, welcoming CSU Bakersfield to the Eberhardt Aquatics Center Saturday at noon.
The men and women will compete against the Roadrunners for the team's second meet in as many weeks.
"I'm so excited for tomorrow," head coach
Katelyne Herrington said. "Bakersfield is always good competition for us and the team is fired up to race. I have been really impressed with how much the team has been training and racing with a purpose that has lead the start of our season to a lot of success. Going into tomorrow, we need to remember to stay present, focusing on one race at a time."
Pacific returns home after earning two wins last week over UC Santa Cruz in Santa Cruz, California. Senior

The Tigers are led by their captains, senior

As reigning Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Athlete of the Week, senior
Leland Baltazar paved the way during the team's first road meet, earning first place in the men's 100 yard backstroke and 200 yard backstroke. Baltazar also was a key member of Pacific's 200 yard medley relay where the Tigers secured the top spot.
Freshman
Christina Agiomamitou and freshman
Javier Lopez Guillen, who were named MPSF Athletes of the Week following the first home meet, look to continue their success in Stockton after first-place finishes in their season debuts.
The Roadrunners competed in the annual CSUB Spring Classic and Roadrunner Invite two weeks ago, which took place in their home site at the Hillman Aquatic Center.
Saturday's meeting marks the fourth all-time contest between the women of Pacific and CSU Bakersfield. Both men's programs meet for the fifth time since 2017. It's the Roadrunners' first trip to Stockton since 2022.
