Tigers Conclude Fall Season at Leadership & Golf Collegiate Championship

SEASIDE, Calif. – Wrapping up the fall portion of the 2024-25 campaign, the Pacific men's golf team has its eyes set on the Leadership & Golf Collegiate Championship, hosted by Saint Mary's and Seattle Monday through Wednesday at Bayonet Golf Course.

The Tigers are one of fourteen teams competing in the field that features five West Coast Conference members. Pacific completes its fall schedule this week after earning back-to-back runner-up finishes over the last two tournaments.

"We are looking forward to competing this week at Bayonet," head coach John Cook said. "It's an amazing venue and great test for the players. The team is excited to get back out on the course and finish off a great fall season."

Junior Travis Robbie became the first Tiger to be crowned an individual champion since Casey Scott in 2018, carding a 13-under-par for first place at the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational. Robbie has been a steady presence in the Tigers' five-man lineup, collecting three consecutive top five individual finishes.

Sophomore Carlos Astiazaran has finished among the top half of every tournament this year, earning a tie for sixth place individually in last week's home tournament.

Junior Timothy Jung claims the top spot in the Tigers' lineup for Monday. Jung finished in a tie for 16th place individually in the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational.

Junior Deitrek Gill and redshirt junior Daniel Henely complete Pacific's lineup. Freshman Brasen Briones will compete as the Tigers' lone individual.

The three-day tournament at Bayonet Golf Course consists of a Par-72, 7,044-yard course. Live scoring can be found here.
