SAN JOSE, Calif. – Moving up a spot in the national rankings, the fourth-ranked Pacific men's water polo program will head to No. 12 San Jose State for its West Coast Conference opener at 12 p.m. Friday at the Spartan Recreation and Aquatic Center before welcoming No. 9 Long Beach State for the home opener at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Eberhardt Aquatics Center.

The undefeated Tigers are off to a perfect 9-0 start and are one of just two unbeaten teams in the country along with No. 6 Fordham. Pacific is playing its first 10 matches away from home prior to Sunday's match with The Beach.

The Tigers have been paced by senior
Mihailo Vukazic who averages over a hat trick a game with 32 goals on the season. He's tallied a pair of seven-goal performances and most recently recorded four goals in the team's 13-8 win at No. 15 UC San Diego.

Six different Tigers have scored at least 10 goals on the season including graduate
Matthew Hosmer (21), graduate Oliver Fodor (16), senior
Jeremie Cote (15), senior
Reuel D'Souza (14) and graduate
Stefan Vavic (10). Freshman
Ori Buzaglo has also been a key contributor with go-ahead goals against LMU and Princeton.

It will be the second WCC contest for SJSU (5-2, 1-0 WCC), which knocked off No. 17 Santa Clara 11-10 on Sept. 20 on the road. The Spartans will look to shake-off an 11-9 defeat to No. 13 UC Davis in their last outing. Pacific is 12-2 all-time against SJSU.

LBSU (12-6) is riding a six-game winning-streak, most recently with an 18-13 victory over No. 18 Cal Baptist. The Tigers have won three straight meetings against The Beach.

Sunday will be the start of a three-game homestand for the Tigers who will host No. 11 Princeton on Friday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. and No. 16 LMU on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 1 p.m.
