Pacific Softball Releases Spring Schedule

STOCKTON, Calif. - Pacific softball revealed its spring schedule for its 2024 season, which is set to start in February of the new year. The Tigers open their regular season with four tournaments, including their Libby Matson Tournament hosted in Stockton, before embarking on a 34 game slate through May.

"We are really excited about this year's schedule. It gives us many tournament and opponent challenges," head coach Brian Kolze shared, "It includes opportunities against common yearly opponents as well as first time opponents. It will also be exciting for our fans at home to get to see Iowa, SE Louisiana, Creighton and Stony Brook for the first time."

The Tigers open 2024 on the road, heading to Southern California to compete in CSU Fullerton's tournament the first full week of February. They return to the area the following week for CSUN's tournament.

Pacific debuts at home Feb. 23-25 for its Libby Matson Tournament. The Tigers host Stony Brook, Nevada and Creighton in this year's iteration of Pacific's premiere tournament. The Tigers head back out on the road for the first week of March, traveling to Phoenix for Grand Canyon's tournament.

The following week, the Tigers open head-to-head play, traveling to the Bay Area to take on 2023 CWS Participant Stanford. Pacific's first home game is March 9th-10th with a three game series against CSU Bakersfield at Bill Simoni Field. The Roadrunners remain through the weekend after a double header on Saturday. The Tigers host North Dakota State for a single game early that following week.

The Tigers host a series of round robin games this season, as Iowa and Sacramento State come to town over a two day stretch (March 15-16). Pacific goes back out on the road to take on Fresno State before returning to Simoni Field for an eight home game stretch to round out non-conference play.

The Tigers open WCC play on the road, traveling to Moraga to face Saint Mary's (April 12-14). League play consists of four games over a three-day weekend, with a double header falling on Saturday. This season, the Tigers host San Diego (April 19-21) and Santa Clara (May 3-5) at Simoni Field. They travel to both Saint Mary's and Loyola Marymount (April 26-28).
