STOCKTON, Calif. - Pacific men's swimming takes a road trip to the Bay Area to take on Stanford on Friday, Jan. 12 at noon. The dual meet shares the weekend with Pacific's senior day meet against Simon Fraser in Stockton on Sunday, Jan. 14 at 11 a.m.

The Tigers last took to the pool before the winter break, traveling for a three day invitational at UNLV. The men earned 19 new top-five times this season while there, including two CSCAA B cuts from junior
Mitchell Hopper in the 200 free (1:36.73) and senior
Aidan Scott in the 400 IM (4:02.36).Â

Hopper captured four top-times this year for the men while in Las Vegas in both the prelim and finals for the 50 free and 200 free. Sophomore
Ethan Cole and Scott also earned four new top-times a piece across a combined six events. Scott claimed the top time this year in the 400 IM, while Hopper raced the fastest 200 free so far this season at the UNLV Invite. Cole moved into the top-five times in the 500 free, 100 breast and 200 breast.

It's the sixth meeting in the past eight years for the two squads. All meets have been hosted in Stanford, with the Cardinal holding the edge at their home pool.

The Tiger men are set to face Stanford at the Avery Aquatics Center in Stanford on Friday, Jan. 12 at noon.Â
