STOCKTON, Calif. – Pacific Baseball (1-6) hosted #2 Stanford (6-2) in an afternoon matchup at Klein Family Field. The Cardinal scored three in the first inning and did not look back in the 15-5 win.

Chase Graves drove in runs for the Tigers. 10 different Tigers picked up a hit in the contest, and four players drove in runs for Pacific.
Ten separate pitchers made an appearance for the Tigers in a pitching-by-committee approach. Senior
Jackson Ertz picked up three strikeouts in his inning of work, and the Pacific staff had 13 total strikeouts, four more than Stanford.
Stanford scored six runs in the first two innings to get an early lead over Pacific. The Tigers responded in the bottom of the second as Otis put the Tigers on the board. Stanford added five more runs before Evans drove in junior
John-Howard Bobo for the Tiger's second run of the game.
Pacific put two runs on the board in the eighth inning, with a wild pitch scoring the first run and a Graves single up the middle bringing home the second run of the inning. Pacific added a final run in the ninth inning as a Bledy single to right home scored Evans.
Pacific is back in action this weekend as the team travels to New Mexico State for a three-game series.
