STOCKTON, Calif. – Senior days for men's water polo on Friday and women's soccer on Saturday highlight the week's action on campus. Women's volleyball hosts San Diego, the defending WCC champion. Men's tennis has a fall event and two of its top players will be at the ITA Fall National Championship in San Diego. Plus, men's basketball will open the season at home next Monday against Sam Houston, a 2023 NIT squad.

Wednesday, Nov. 1 – Sunday, Nov. 5 – Men's Tennis at ITA Fall National Championship – The Pacific doubles team of Peter Alam and Justas Trainauskas won the Northwest Regional and earned a spot in the 32-team draw at the fall nationals. It is the first time that Pacific men's tennis earned an ITA regional title and the first time since 2017 that the Tigers have been represented at the national event. Thursday, Nov. 2 – Women's Volleyball (14-8, 6-4) at San Francisco (10-13, 4-7), 7 p.m. – The Tigers look to sweep the Dons with this match on the road. Pacific won a 3-2 match in the first meeting with Biamba Kabengele, Darina Kumanova and Alexa Edwards combining for 44 kills. The Tigers ride the momentum of a 3-2 win over Loyola Marymount on Saturday, moving into fourth place in the WCC.
 
Friday, Nov. 3 – Saturday, Nov. 4 – Men's Tennis hosts Pacific Invitational – Seven teams will play a combination of singles and doubles competition in this final fall event of the season for the Tigers. Portland State, Cal Poly, Sacramento State will join WCC teams Santa Clara, San Francisco and Saint Mary's, along with host Pacific. Action begins at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. each of the three days. Admission is free.
 
Friday, Nov. 3 – Men's Swimming (1-0) vs. Fresno Pacific (0-1) at Fresno State, 4 p.m. – After a 188-82 win over UC Santa Cruz last week, the men's swim team heads to Fresno State Aquatics Center to face the Sunbirds in a neutral pool contest. Pacific defeated Fresno Pacific last season.
 
Friday, Nov. 3 – Women's Swimming (1-1) at Fresno State (1-0) with Fresno Pacific (0-1), 4 p.m. – Pacific opens a two-day road trip by battling two opponents at the Fresno State Aquatic Center. Pacific split this event last year in Fresno, defeating the Sunbirds but losing to the Bulldogs. Last Friday, the Tigers opened the home season by downing UC Santa Cruz, 168-82.
 
Friday, Nov. 3 – #16 Men's Water Polo (11-11, 0-3) hosts Air Force (16-12, 1-2), 7:30 p.m. – Pacific closes out the home season by hosting the Falcons on Senior Night. The two teams have met in invitational settings 11 times since 2005 with the Tigers winning 10 of the 11. The last meeting was in 2016. This is the first season both programs are members of the West Coast Conference. Last week, Pacific narrowly dropped WCC decisions to Santa Clara, 13-12 in OT, and San Jose State, 9-7.
 
Saturday, Nov. 4 – Women's Volleyball hosts San Diego (12-9, 8-3), noon – Pacific welcomes the defending WCC champs to the Spanos Center in a key conference matchup. The Toreros advanced to the NCAA semifinals last season. Both teams trail WCC leader Pepperdine (10-0). LMU is tied with San Diego at 8-3. San Diego swept Pacific in the first meeting, 3-0. The Tigers are 9-1 at home this season.
 
Saturday, Nov. 4 – Men's and Women's Swimming at CSU Bakersfield (M: 1-1, W: 1-1), noon – The Tigers face a tough test against a MPSF opponent. The Roadrunners swept the two meets last year in Stockton. The Tiger women's team nearly caught the Roadrunners in last year's MPSF championship, with CSUB finishing sixth; Pacific, seventh. On the men's side, CSUB finished sixth; Pacific, eighth.
 
Saturday, Nov. 4 – Men's Soccer (5-6-4, 1-3-1) at San Diego (9-4-3, 3-1-1), 7 p.m. – The Tigers finish the season with road matches against the WCC co-leaders. First, Pacific faces the defending WCC champions then finishes the season at the Santa Clara (5-7-3, 3-1-1). Pacific won the last contest at Torero Stadium, a 2-1 win over San Diego in 2021. The Tigers enter the week after a 3-1 win over Gonzaga on Senior Day, closing out the home schedule.
 
Saturday, Nov. 4 – Women's Soccer (8-9-1, 2-5) hosts San Francisco (6-6-3, 3-1-1), 7 p.m. – The Tigers end the season by hosting the fourth-place Dons on Senior Night. Seven seniors will be honored prior to the match, including Jaida Nyby, Hana Rosenblatt, Lauren Frohan, Ryanne Molenaar, Juliana Alexander, Laila Saravia and Audrey Fuchs. No charge for admission. The Tigers picked up a road WCC win last week, scoring a goal in the last three minutes of the match for a 2-1 win over Loyola Marymount.
 
Monday, Nov. 6 – Men's Basketball (0-0) hosts Sam Houston (0-0), 7 p.m. – Head coach Leonard Perry and his Tigers open the season at home against the Bearkats. Pacific, which has nine returning players from last season, won three of its final four home games in 2022-23 to finish 15-18, 7-9, a four-game improvement in WCC wins from the previous season. Sam Houston was 26-8 a year ago, including 14-4 in the Western Athletic Conference. Earning a bid in the NIT, the Bearkats knocked off Santa Clara in the opening round before falling to North Texas. Sam Houston has shifted to Conference USA and was picked sixth in the preseason CUSA poll.
