Box Score Davis, Calif. – The No. 7 University of the Pacific men's water polo team lost to host No. 8 UC Davis, 11-6 on Friday.
After the contest was tied at 2 and 3, respectively, the host Aggies closed out the second quarter with four-consecutive goals for a 7-3 halftime lead. Pacific managed to cut the deficit to as little as two, 8-6, before the Aggies came back with a pair of goals to end the third quarter for a 10-6 lead. The fourth quarter saw UC Davis score the only goal for the final margin.
For the Tigers, who fall to 2-3,
Bogdan Djerkovic and
Mihailo Vukazic each scored twice, plus
Djordje Stanic and
Eli Lule had a goal in the loss.
The Aggies, who improve to 6-0, were led by a three-goal effort from Nir Gross while Logan Anderson and Ben Fleming each added two.
