- After Farrah Steffany retired the Aggies in order in the second with three groundouts, Pacific put two runners on with back-to-back singles from Mabrey and Krosky.
- Krosky, who finished the day going 2 for 4 from the plate, registered her 12thRBI of the season in the fifth inning with a double to left center that scored Mabrey from from second after she doubled with two outs.
- The Aggies put a runner on second in the very next frame, but Steffany escaped the jam with an inning-ending strikeout.
- Pacific clawed back with a run in the top of the seventh on a Mabrey single down the left field line that scored Shepherd. Shepherd walked with one out to start the inning, then stole second for her ninth stolen base on the year.
