Tigers Roll on Second Day in a Row, Down Hornets 6-1

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Pacific women's tennis team (4-1, 0-0 WCC) kept rolling on Sunday, defeating Sacramento State 6-1 at the Sacramento State Tennis Courts behind strong play in both doubles and singles.
 
Doubles
  • Pacific took the first doubles match 6-3 with a win from Maya Lopez and Anna Ramos-Vinolas, but the Tigers on two, 3-6.
  • Klara Kosan and Dohee Lee secured the advantage heading into singles play though with a competitive 7-5 win.
Singles
  • Lee, Kosan and Ramos-Vinolas secured straight-set wins in singles competition. Lee and Kosan were two of the first three to make quick work of their opponents. 
  • Ramos-Vinolas picked up the win on six 6-4, 6-4 after Elise Frigout dropped her match on three.
  • Zoe Eberle battled through a tiebreaking third set, coming out with a 6-2, 1-6, 6-2 win on four. 
  • Maya Lopez engaged in an absolute battle on five, never relenting in an epic 5-7, 7-6, 10-5 win.
