Tigers Complete Roster for Spring

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific men's tennis program and head coach Robin Goodman have finalized their spring recruiting class with the addition of Russell Henderson of Algarve, Portugal.

"I would like to welcome Russell to our team and the Pacific family", said Goodman. "He is an extremely talented player who loves the game and holds high academic standards for himself. Russell is coming to Pacific as he wants to prove to himself that he can work hard and achieve success in the collegiate setting, and I have no doubt that we will see great things from him during his time with our program."

Born to Ian and Sharon Henderson in West Palm Beach, Florida, Russell moved to the country of Portugal at just two years old. During his time at Algarve International School, his talents led him to become a two-time national team champion as well as being crowned an ITF Grade 5 Junior champion.

"It is a huge honor and privilege to be a part of this program," said Henderson. "I can't wait to get to Stockton and create something special with the guys. Go Tigers!"

Henderson is set to make his debut as a Tiger this upcoming spring.
