Aas, Forest Tabbed Tigers of the Week

Pacific women's soccer player Sigrid Aas and men's golfer Beau Forest have been announced the Tigers of the week for the week of July 22-28, 2019 after exhibiting exceptional performance in their respective sports, but also in the classroom.

Both individuals boast a perfect 4.0 grade point average. 

Aas, a Business Administration major with a finance concentration, has played midfield for the past three seasons and during that time she has totaled eight goals, three assists and 19 points. Her accolades include being named to the West Coast Conference All-Freshman team, following her debut season in 2016, and WCC All-Academic as a sophomore (2017) and junior (2018).

Forest will graduate next spring with a degree in Computer Science with a focus in Networking and Computer Science. 

After utilizing his redshirt season in his first season with the Tigers, Forest posted a 75.16 stroke average as a sophomore. This past season he finished with a 75.75 stroke averages with his highest finish of 16th coming at the Sacramento State Invitational on Mar. 4-5.

Off the course, Forest snagged his second WCC All-Academic nod after registering the conference's highest GPA in men's golf for the 2018-19 seasons. In addition, Forest received the Pacific Athletics Dan Malley Service Award for logging over 70 hours of community service during his time at the university.

Pacific's Tigers of the Week honor will be awarded each Monday to two student athletes that represent Pacific's beliefs in exceptional ways. Student-athletes will be judged on their athletic achievements, academic successes, work in the community and extraordinary efforts.
