Pacific women's tennis went on the road to Saint Mary's today and dropped it only match of the week, 5-0.
Saint Mary's which was coming off of a win last weekend over previously nationally-ranked, Loyola Marymount, shut the Tigers out on Saturday in Moraga. Sophomore Dohee Lee picked up a first set win and had a chance to take her match at No. 2 singles, she was heading to a tie-breaker in the second set when the match came to an end. A third set was about to start in junior Anna Ramos Vinolas's match on court six when Saint Mary's clinched the victory as well.
In doubles, wins on courts one and two got the point for the Gaels. Vinolas and her fellow junior, Karina Vyrlan's match at No. 3 doubles was not finished, preserving their 7-0 season in doubles.
Pacific is back in action next weekend with two matches in the Pacific Northwest, the first of which comes against Gonzaga on Friday at noon. Pacific finishes the weekend against Portland at noon on Saturday.
