No. 3 Men's Water Polo Heads To Brown's Bruno Invite

Collegiate Water Polo Poll

Stockton, Calif. - With its highest ranking ever in program history, the No. 3 Pacific men's water polo team visits Providence for the Bruno Fall Invitational, where the Tigers will face MIT, St. Francis (NY), Navy and host Brown.

No. 3 Pacific opens the tournament Saturday morning, at 6:15 am PT, against MIT. At 11:30 am the Tigers meet No. 12 St. Francis. In Sunday's action, the Tigers open the day at 5:30 am PT versus No. 17 Navy, before a 9:15 am PT contest against No. 18 Brown.

The Tigers are off to a 1-0 start following a 19-7 lambasting of No. 18 Santa Clara, as senior Balazs Erdelyi scored seven goals. Pacific moved up to No. 3 in the polls, setting a new mark for the highest ranking in program history, topping last week's No. 5 ranking.

The MPSF went a combined 29-0 against other conferences in the season's opening weekend, and boasts the top nine teams in the Collegiate Water Polo Association poll.
