No. 7 Pacific Falls to No. 5 UC Santa Barbara 15-12 in MPSF Fifth Place Game

Irvine, Calif. - The No. 7 ranked Pacific men's water polo team fell to No. 5 ranked UC Santa Barbara in the Fifth Place game of the MPSF Tournament on Sunday, November 26th in Irvine, Calif.

With the loss, the Tigers end their season 16-17, while UC Santa Barbara finishes at 21-14.

UC Santa Barbara outscored the Tigers 5-2 in the second period to take a 10-6 halftime lead, which would be too much for the Tigers to overcome. Senior Co-Captain Clint McLaughlin (El Cajon, Calif.) scored three goals to pace Pacific, while sophomore Will Milcovich (Walnut Creek, Calif.) added two goals.

Junior goalie Brian Domecus (Vallejo, Calif.) recorded 11 blocks, but saw 11 different UCSB record goals.
