No. 5 Pacific Stunned by No. 7 Loyola Marymount 12-6

Los Angeles, Calif. - The No. 5 ranked Pacific men's water polo team fell to 10-6 on the season with a 12-6 loss at the hands of No. 7 Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles on October 5th.

The Tigers fell behind early, allowing five goals to the Lions in the first period to take a four goal deficit into the second period. Junior Duje Kaurloto (Split, Croatia) scored two goals for the Tigers, pushing his season total to 41. Senior Mike Mitchell (San Diego, Calif.), junior Dragan Bakic (Split, Croatia), and sophomores Shane Mahoney (Lodi, Calif.) and Will Milcovich (Walnut Creek, Calif.) added a goal apiece for the Tigers.

Pacific is back in action on Saturday, October, 6th as they take on No. 1 ranked USC in the Tigers MPSF opener. First sprint is scheduled for 11AM.
