IRVINE, Calif.: Senior Brett McCleave scored what proved to be the game-winning goal with 2:45 remaining in the fourth quarter to lift sixth-ranked Long Beach State past No. 12 Pacific.

The Tigers led 5-2 at halftime before the 49ers came back to outscore Pacific 7-2 in the second half. McCleave scored three goals to lead LBSU while Reid Tomassi and Jay Gerardi added two each. Matt Turnbull (Act, Australia) led the Tigers with three goals and Will McLaughlin (El Cajon, Calif.) added a pair.
