STOCKTON, Calif. – Pacific men's basketball has a special Family Night celebration planned for Thursday, Dec. 29, when the Tigers host the Cougars of BYU in a 6 p.m. game.
The event starts with the Tiger Food Truck Fest, co-sponsored by Visit Stockton. Four of Pacific's top food trucks, Callejeros Grill, Hot Tender Station, Patrick's House Catering, and Fired Pizza, will begin service in the Stagg Memorial Football Plaza at 4 p.m. Join us for music and food.
Special Family Night activities will be set up inside and outside the arena, sponsored by the Miracle Mile merchants, Chick-fil-A; Amy Scriven, DDS; Jon Rader's State Farm Agency; and the Parks Group. The Family Night sponsors will present a unique halftime activity: Stunt Dog Productions, the world's largest and original "stunt dog show."
And then there is the main event – the WCC opener for the Pacific men's basketball team against BYU. The last time the two teams met in the Alex G. Spanos Center, the Cougars were about to move into the Top 25. Pacific rallied for a come-from-behind 76-73 win over BYU.
The Tigers enter the WCC season with wins in three of its last four games, including home wins over two of its longest regional rivals, Fresno State and San Jose State. The first 700 fans in the gates will receive a Pacific Koozie.
