High School:
Marina Ota graduated from College Park High School in Pleasant Hill, Calif. She lettered in both cross country and track for the Falcons. With the cross country team, she was awarded the Iron Runner award, bestowed upon those athletes that ran all four years of high school.

Personal:
Marina Ota was born in Walnut Creek, Calif and is the daughter of Doug and Paula Ota. She has one older brother, Kevin. Ota is an applied math major with career plans of working in actuarial science.
