Pacific Cross Country To Hold First Ever High Altitude Camp With Nike

Stockton, Calif. – The Pacific Cross Country team has teamed up with Nike for its first ever High Altitude camp.

Where: Kirkwood Resort – Lake Tahoe, Calif.

When: Jul. 7 - Jul. 11, 2012

Who: Co-Ed, Ages: 13-19

The Pacific Cross Country High Altitude camp offers a great opportunity for the up and coming distance runner to get a glimpse at what it means to be a collegiate runner. Campers learn from current NCAA Division 1 collegiate athletes as well as a Division 1 coach. They will learn training philosophies, race strategies, core strength routines, exercise physiology, and learn the steps of being recruited by college coaches. Along with all the learning that is being done, campers are able to run on beautiful Sierra Mountain trails at an elevation of 7,800', which is great for the summer training schedule.
