Women's Water Polo To Hold Community Day This Saturday
Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific women's water polo team will hold its annual Community Day this Saturday, Mar. 31, when the Tigers play host to Big West rival UC Davis at noon.
Admission to the noon match is free as the Stockton community is encouraged to come out to the Chris Kjeldsen Aquatics Complex and support the Tigers in their conference opener against the Aggies.
"We are very excited to open our match to the Stockton community on Saturday," head coach Megan Thomson said. "It would mean a lot to our team to have the stands packed for our first Big West Conference match of the season."
Pacific's annual alumni game will follow the UC Davis match. The afternoon will be highlighted by the first annual Wine & Water Polo Benefit held at Kjeldsen Pool. The event will feature a silent auction and a raffle along with traditional wood-fire pizza and wine tasting. Tickets are $35 per person and can be purchased by contacting Emily Schmit at eschmit@pacific.edu or (209) 946-3998.
