Kay appeared in 20 games in her first season at Pacific. She tallied five goals on 20 shots. Kay also recorded nine drawn ejections, three steals, and two field blocks. She earned Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches All-Academic honors.
University of Cape Town ('10):
Kay earned a bachelor's degree in labor, organization psychology, and human resource management from the University of Cape Town. As a member of the Tigers' water polo team, she won the South African University Games in 2008, 2009, and 2010. Kay earned all-tournament honors each year and received the Best Attacker award in 2009.
Reddam House HS ('07):
Kay graduated from Reddam House High School in Constantia, Cape Town, South Africa, where she earned four letters in water polo. She led her school to national titles in 2005, 2006, and 2007. Kay was the Western Province School Aquatics' top goal scorer as a junior and senior.
Kay was born in Cape Town, South Africa, and is the daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth Kay. She has a younger sister, Sarah, and a younger brother, Jonathan. Sarah currently swims for Marshall University and was a member of the South African National Team in 2010. Jonathan is presently a top cyclist in his age group in South Africa. Kay is pursuing a graduate degree in political communication and lists her hobbies as surfing and reading.
