Playing in her third season at Pacific, Tomaszewska found her home in the middle for the Tigers, posting 154 kills on just 333 swings, tying for a team-best .312 hitting percentage. Additionally, Natalia was one of the Tigers' most effective blockers at the net tallying 58 total blocks. Throughout the year, Natalia earned her first player of the week award of her career, grabbing the American Scouting Report weekly award on Nov. 3 after helping lead the Tigers to wins against Cal Poly and UC Santa Barbara. During the week, Natalia hit .469 as she posted 19 kills and just four errors in 32 swings. Her play throughout the year earned her a spot on the All-Big West Honorable Mention team. In May of 2008, Natalia graduated with a degree in sport sciences. She will finish her fourth year of eligibility while working on her post-graduate degree in 2009.
Natalia appeared in 18 matches for the Tigers in 2007, seeing time in 33 sets. Tomaszewska's best numbers came in the final two matches of the season as she reached double figures in kills for the first time on Nov. 23 in the Tigers' 3-0 win over Fresno State. The following evening, Natalia delivered her first double-double of the season with 14 kills and 10 digs in Pacific's 3-2 win over Cincinnati to claim the 29th Annual Community Bankers Classic Championship. For the season, Natalia finished with 43 kills, 27 digs and nine blocks.
In just her first year of action, Tomaszewska gave the Tigers a weapon on the outside and from the service line as she delivered 213 kills and 21 aces on her jump serve. Natalia appeared in all 29 matches for the Tigers. She averaged 2.17 kills and 1.74 digs per game and recorded three double-doubles. Tomaszewska notched her third double-double of the season with 15 kills and 13 digs in the Tigers' 3-2 comeback win over UC Davis on Nov. 2. She tallied a career-high 16 kills and nabbed 13 digs in Pacific's 3-1 win over UC Irvine on Oct. 7. In Pacific's third tournament of the season at the Michigan/Pepsi Challenge, Tomaszewska came into her own, notching her first double-double with 11 kills and a career-high 20 digs in Pacific's 3-1 loss to Virginia on Sept. 8. Later that day, Natalia posted 12 kills in the Tigers' 3-1 loss to Marquette. Tomaszewska appeared in seven of the Tigers' nine games at the season-opening Fresno State Invitational, collecting her first kill, dig and block in Pacific's 3-0 loss to No. 6 Santa Clara on Aug. 25.
During the 2005-06 season, Tomaszewska attended the Academy of Physical Education.
Natalia graduated from II Liceum Ogolnoksztalcace in Wodzislawslaski, Polandm in 2005. A three-sport athlete, Tomaszewska played volleyball, basketball and table-tennis.
Natalia Tomaszewska is the daughter of Krzysztof and Jolanta Tomaszewska. She has one older sister, Agata (29), who plays professional basketball in Poland. In her fourth year at Pacific, Natalia will begin her graduate work after graduating in May of 2008 with a degree in sport sciences.
