Prior School (CSI):
Misa comes to Pacific after spending the last two years at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls, Idaho. As a Golden Eagle, Sam helped her team to the 2009 NJCAA Division I Volleyball National Championship as a sophomore. A key contributor on the championship run, Misa was named to the All-Tournament team after posting five kills, a service ace, two assists, eight digs, two blocks and a block assist in the title game. For the season, Misa posted 261 kills, fourth best on the team, while defensively adding 337 digs, second best among all the Golden Eagles, and 51 blocks. High School:
Prior to attending the College of Southern Idaho, Misa was a four-year letterman at Dixie High School, where she earned all region honors in each of her four seasons. As a Junior and Senior, Misa helped Dixie to a second-place finish at the state tournament and earned first team all-state honors. Outside of high school volleyball, Sam played on the Jammers Club team in 2002 and 2003 and the Asics Club team from 2004 to 2006. Personal:
Samantha Misa is the daughter of Pyle and Juanita Misa. She has three siblings, Amanda, Melvin and Andrew.
