Pacific Plays Pink, Takes On Cal Poly And UC Santa Barbara At Home
This Week In Tiger Volleyball - Big West Play
For the one and only time in October, the Tigers will play at home at the Alex G. Spanos Center as Pacific takes on Cal Poly and UC Santa Barbara over the weekend. Pacific kicks off its weekend with a match against Cal Poly on Friday night as the Tigers welcome back to the Spanos Center former men's assistant coach, Sam Crosson. Crosson spent five seasons as the top assistant with the men's program before moving into the women's ranks at Santa Clara.
On Saturday, the Tigers will Play Pink against UC Santa Barbara as Pacific plays its annual event in honor of breast health awareness. In addition to the match, the Tigers will host their alumni for the weekend as the past greats return home to take part in the weekend festivities. During the alumni weekend, Pacific will also dedicate a Tiger statue in front of the Spanos Center to former Tigers Sharon Kasser-Stephens and Cathey Scotlan. The dedication event will take place at 4:15 pm prior to the 7:00 pm match against the Gauchos.
