Alumni Return To Campus On August 20

Stockton, Calif. - Coming back to campus to get a first hand look at the 2011 Tigers, the Pacific volleyball team welcomes home their Alumni on Saturday, August 20 for a day with the Tigers.  The former Tigers will get a chance to spend some time with the current players before hitting the court themselves for an alumni scrimmage on the new courts of Janssen-Lagorio Gymnasium.

Some of the alumni that will returning back to their old stomping grounds will be: Mary Miller, Elaina Oden, Elsa Stegemann, Sara Bronson, Danielle Shinn, Brooke Herrington, Andrea Reddick, Molly Mordaunt, Devin Scruggs, Katy Eldridge, Tara Podesta, Lisa Barbieri, Angela Gotelli, Misty Swails, Johanna Hilbers, Leona Bielefeld, Tracy Chambers, Carissa Clifford, Natasha Soltysik, Alexa Baum and Tanja Dimitrijevic.  

The former players will get a chance to meet and interct with the current addition of the Tigers as 2011 will have 14 players don the Orange and Black.  The Tigers will head begin their new season on August 26 in Cedar City, Utah as they take part in the Southern Utah Invitational.  Pacific will square off against Boise State on Friday morning at 10:00 am to kick off the tournament.  The quest for the Big West title begins on September 21 when UC Davis comes to the Alex G. Spanos Center for a match beginning at 7:00 pm.
