2010 (Junior):
Called upon to be the Tigers' No. 2 offensive option throughout the year, Misa put together a stellar inaugural campaign at Pacific to earn All-Big West honorable mention honors. Proving to be a dominant force at the pins for the Tigers, Misa tallied 345 kills while averaging 2.97 kills per game, second-best among Pacific attackers. In addition, Misa has posted 297 digs while also tallying 10 double-doubles on the year. She finished the year with 382.5 points, second best among the Tigers, after adding 28 blocks and 20 aces to her season totals. Growing as the season progressed, Misa finished her first year at Pacific with arguably her finest offensive performances as she posted three-consecutive 20+ kill performances. She started her final two weeks of the season with 24 kills to lead Pacific past UC Santa Barbara followed by 22 kills against UC Davis in the Tigers' Big West final and finally adding a career-best 26 kills in the Tigers season-ending victory at Saint Mary's. For her efforts, Sam picked up the conference's final player of the week award on Nov. 29.

Prior School (CSI):
Misa came to Pacific after spending two years at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls, Idaho. As a Golden Eagle, Sam helped her team to the 2009 NJCAA Division I Volleyball National Championship as a sophomore. A key contributor on the championship run, Misa was named to the All-Tournament team after posting five kills, a service ace, two assists, eight digs, two blocks and a block assist in the title game. For the season, Misa posted 261 kills, fourth best on the team, while defensively adding 337 digs, second best among all the Golden Eagles, and 51 blocks.

High School:
Prior to attending the College of Southern Idaho, Misa was a four-year letterman at Dixie High School, where she earned all region honors in each of her four seasons. As a Junior and Senior, Misa helped Dixie to a second-place finish at the state tournament and earned first team all-state honors. Outside of high school volleyball, Sam played on the Jammers Club team in 2002 and 2003 and the Asics Club team from 2004 to 2006.

Personal:
Samantha Misa is the daughter of Pule and Juanita Misa. She has three siblings, Amanda, Melvin and Andrew.  She plans to graduate with a degree in sociology in her final year at Pacific.
