Tigers Head To Clovis For Bulldog Open

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Tiger track & field team head to Clovis, Calif. this week for the Bulldog Open, which is hosted by Fresno State. Both the running and field events take place this Saturday starting at noon.

More records fell last week at the Bryan Clay Invitational as Naomi Nunis posted a 12.78 in the 100m and a 26.36 in the 200m, which are both program bests. Emily Wylie sped through the 800m in 2:19.47, another program record, and also posted a stellar 4:53.27 in the 1500m. In the 5000m, Jasmine Gonzales registered a 18:17.41 and Emma Winkler ran a 19:37.53, which is a personal best. 

In the field events last week Jasmine Jenkins threw a 10.14m in shot put while Alexia Amo notched a 9.75m, setting a new personal best for the freshman. In discus Jenkins logged a distance of 27.98m and Amo threw a 25.39m. 

Following the Bulldog Open the Tigers head to San Francisco, Calif. for the USF Last Chance Invite, which concludes the regular season for the Tigers.
