Records Fall At Hornet Invitational

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Tiger Track & Field team continued their streak of breaking records this season as Pacific posted a strong showing at the Hornet Invitational this past Saturday.  

Lena Perry participated in the high jump and posted a distance of 1.50m, setting a new program record. Jessie Niccum posted an 18.92m in the javelin throw. In discus, Alexia Amo placed tenth in Flight One with a distance of 24.00m. Amo also competed in shot put, placing fifth in her flight with a distance of 9.33m.  

In the 1500m, Jasmine Gonzalez (4:57.33) and Myra Lakdawala (5:07.75) both ran personal-bests, and Madison Cote finished with a time of 5:22.91. In the 4x100m relay, the squad of Jessica Fogel, Ebony Ezeji, Sandra Padilla and Perry posted time of 53.70. Perry also posted a 13.56 in the 100m dash, just off her personal-best. 

The Orange and Black will now head to San Francisco for the SFSU Distance Carnival on March 31st.
