Two Tigers Honored in Big West Conference Awards

Stockton, Calif. - Senior Jenifer Widjaja and sophomore Julia Hansen earned All League recognition at the end of the 2010-11 season for their outstanding performance on the court.

Jenifer Widjaja was recognized as the Big West Women's Tennis Player of the Year  for the second consecutive season in addition to being selected for First Team in singles as well as doubles. Widjaja ended the season with a final year record at the No. 1 spot 25-9, and 15-4 in the spring season in singles; in doubles she earned a final year record of 18-7, and a spring record of 15-4 in the spring with partner Julia Hansen.

Julia Hansen playing in the No. 2 spot was chosen to be on the Second Team for singles and was chosen first team for doubles along with partner Widjaja.  Julia had a record of 15-14 overall and 9-10 for the spring season in singles.
