Pacific Falls to No. 48 Saint Mary's College 6-1

The Tigers may have come up short, but they did so with grace and poise. The ladies got off to a rough start after having lost the doubles point and weren't able to come back in the singles which yielded No. 48 Saint Mary's the winner.
A match highlight consisted of a victory produced by Kateryna Nezhura when she defeated opponent Alita Fisher with an impressive three set score to earn the Tigers a point for the match. Her final match score was 3-6, 7-6, 10-6.
After the match, Coach Chiene stated, "While we didn't win today, the ladies still played well. They played tough." Two Tigers faced nationally ranked opponents. Senior Jenifer Widjaja and sophomore Julia Hansen both fought through their matches in which they came up against tough competition.
