Pacific Defeated by No. 42 Cal Poly

The Tigers got off to a rough start having lost the doubles point to the Mustangs in a 2-1 decision in which the No. 3 doubles match held the deciding point which was in favor of the Mustangs.  Though the Tigers lost the doubles point, duo Jenifer Widjaja and Julia Hansen won their match against Markhoff/Lee with a confident 8-2.

In the singles matches, the Tigers started off strong with Jenifer Widjaja winning her match against Alexa Lee with a cool two set score of 6-1, 6-3.  Following Jenifer's victory were two losses for the Tigers.  The next victory for the Pacific was courtesy of Shabby Eslami who earned a final score of 6-4, 6-4 against Jocelyn Davis.  Freshman Susan Te had the last victory for the Tigers at the No. 5 spot, with a final score of 5-7, 6-4, 6-2 against Amy Markhoff.
