Tigers Closed Out Season at USD

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The University of the Pacific women's tennis team closed out its season at the University of San Diego with a 4-0 loss on Sunday afternoon.

After falling in the doubles competition, the Orange and Black had three matches go unfinished in singles. In No. 1 singles, Maayan Sela took set one, 6-4, against her opponent Nicole Anderson and was tied 2-2 by the time USD clinched the match.

In No. 3 singles, Karina Vyrlan won her first set in a 7-5 decision and was up 2-1 against Maria-Paula Torres in set two before her match went unfinished.

Anna Ramos-Vinolas fell in set one, 6-3, and was tied 4-4 in set two against opponent Colomba DiFilippo when the match went unfinished.

Pacific closed out its season at 6-13 overall and 2-7 in the West Coast Conference.
